I can understand why someone might be surprised that a couple dozen machines can wreck a trail just by going over it a few times, but believe me THEY CAN. There is a swampy spot on my land where a trespasser got his machine stuck a few years ago. The hole he made and the ruts he made getting out of there are still there after four years. I hate to think what it would look like if twenty 800+ cc machines had gone ripping through there. I don't let ATV'ers use my trails. I do enough damage to them all by myself.
