We had an area that we used to go to for shooting guns, the forest service totally shut it down because people were going in and cutting down trees with bullets and leaving all of the spent cartridges laying all over the place along with garbage and thousands of nails from pallets burned for bon fires. We had been going there for 40 years, because of the acts of a few it has been ruined for everyone. Disrespect of our public lands from from folks that move in here is a hard pill to swallow, then they are the ones that scream the loudest when they get caught. It used to be that the forest service didn't mind as long as you picked up your brass, trash, and just fired into a dirt bank. very frustrating. We rode an area that we had never ridden before this last fall that allowed Jeeps, 50+ inch utv's, 50" or less, and motorcycles. Throughout the 50" trails there were single track trails intersecting everywhere, it was't enough that the bikes had access everywhere they had to "Free Ride" as well, there were tracks everywhere shooting through the areas where trees weren't as thick in every direction because it was nice and smooth throughout. Signs at each intersection of the single track stating to stay on trails with now deviations. As we were coming down the trail a group of 15 bikes came up behind us and shot off into the trees all around us to pass us. There were plenty of areas where we could pull over and let them by but they chose to rip the crap out of area surrounding the trail. I wonder how many times that will happen be before the Bureau of Land Management closes it down. Pretty frustrating.

I have a good friend that works for the dept of natural resources and 99% of the time an area is closed is because people act stupid...leaving trash or doing dumb things to get themselves hurt. We had a local riding area in a small woods in which an underground pipe passed thru. We rode there for years always picking up other peoples trash each time we went. Tep about two years back they closed it due to excessive trash and some stupid people getting seriously hurt riding while drinking!! Those stupid people are the first ones to complain...."we wasn't hurtin anything" Yes you are..hurting the land from your trash, and hurting other peoples chances of enjoying themselves because of your stupidity!

I'm tired of people coming here from third world sSpam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam wordt holes, then trying to make it just like the place they escaped. If you want to change the way things are, do it in your own country. Don't come here then complain about it and try changing things. The door is always open and you can leave any time.

Seen these situations over and over again. They act like idiots, never join a club and offer a hand on projects, then wonder why the landowners close the trails on their property....
