The Obama Regime.....

Recon: Since you bring this up....Please specify exactly why or how he can now be considered a "Fascist" (as opposed to the socialist/communist). Fox and various other right-wing authorities consider him a communists/socialist. How is it possible to be a fascist at the same time? Do you have any idea what these labels mean? My guess is you're just reciting some non-sense you heard on talk radio....where they spew hate, and the minions such as yourself push it out to whoever will listen. You should be happy he's considered a fascist...it's more along your line of thinking.
As a political epithet, the word fascist has been applied mainly to a broad range of people and groups on the extreme right. The individual, institution, or group(s) called fascist often find the use of the term in this way to be highly offensive and inappropriate.
IT'S A MULTI-PARTY SYSTEM IN AMERICA. YOU WANT DEATH TO THE LIBERALS, YET YOU WAVE THE FLAG AND RECITE THE CONSTITUTION. TALK ABOUT FASCISM.
I'm done with these political forums; It's too disturbing to hear how angry and nasty the right wing in America really is. -No, I'm not a Liberal. I'm a registered Independent and I vote both ways.

All three of these ism's, are based on government control of the means of production. The government is buying up the banks and financial industries an leveraging the auto industry....but what they really really ultimately want is control of ENERGY production! Whoever controls that, has the nation by the *****!
I think he thinks of himself as a socialist (as do may who voted him into office), yet he is headed down the slippery slope toward fascism. He sounds more like Moussolini than Marx.....that's the irony of the whole thing, isn't it!!!
Not to mention that he is aligned with the radical environmentalists, who can't stand the fact that you ride! My God, your quad belches CO2 greenhouse gases...and that is probably as unacceptable as your gun!!! You ready for cap-and-trade? How about huge taxes on your quad???? Your breath emits CO2 as well.....

I don't think we have time for someone who will mess up. I agree and hope/pray that he succeeds, but honestly, much of what he's doing is clearly flawed from the start.
Recon- I don't think he is leading us toward a autocratic/socialist/fascist/communist society, I think he blends capitalist ideas with socialist ideas (which APPEAR solid until one views past societies and deeply into what carries socialist systems) which is simply ineffective.
Scrambler- I share your idea of giving him a chance, and being optimistic; but I as a 16 year old can see flaws when presented the simple, unbiased information.
I am not biased. I'm an average, middle class, publicly schooled, 16 year old. My mother generally is leftist, and my father quite conservative. I consider both sides of the picture, and decide for myself. I make these decisions mostly by simply looking at past nations and whether or not they succeeded or failed.
In the end, Obama needs to take quite a few steps to the right, as does Congress. Pulling our upper and middle to upper tiers of society down isn't going to work. Distribution of the wealth is DIRECTLY AGAINST THE F'N AMERICAN DREAM. If I work my whole life to building a company, and I make $300,000 a year (lol what a dream right?), I don't expect some scrub claiming he needs help who's mooching welfare claiming mental insecurity to be "stealing" from me. Our society is based on the ideas that people are free. If you work hard and succeed, well done, you reap the benefits. If you don't, and fail, you need to pull yourself up, not cry for help.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading.

A few responses.
Good to give a new President a least a chance. It's un-American not to.
No, this is the way all countries operate. Who do you think pays to keep this ship afloat? The more you make the more you pay.....It's ALWAYS been that way, and ALWAYS will be.....Once you start paying taxes and you're in a bracket where you enjoy generous deductions and most of your major purchases are taken care of, you'll understand.
I just finished my federal taxes today and I'm paying less (not much less, but less) this year than last. Obama isn't bringing me "down" and I make well into the six figure bracket. Verified today 4/4/09.
Yes, I have a very different view of how a reasonable society operates.
Sounds like you might be listening to a bit too much Sam Wurzelbacher, AKA "Joe the Plumber". He's a hack.
