Details Mega....What's on it's way?

 

There is a show that begins filming in two weeks in the pirate region around Somalia. The show is entitled "Pirate Hunters" they are sending two filming crews in that will shadow Navy and private contractors. Evidently some shiping companies are hiring escort security. This was on yahoo news yesterday. This will be a reality show just like "Deadliest Catch" or "Ice Road Truckers". It will be on Spike Channel, produced by the same company that made "The True Story of Black Hawk Down".

 

Scooter, Not to single your post out in particular.....and I'm pretty sure we (who read and post here) all agree the Navy Seals did the right thing shooting the pirates dead.

But.....did anybody hear Rush today now start to refer to the pirates generally as merchant teenagers? Suddenly he's changed his views and now they're the poor children from a starving nation that "just wanted to head home", "they were running out of food" but then the bad Obama gave the order to shoot these "teenagers" "on the high seas". Where does this dude get the ***** to criticize him one day for not doing enough, then completely change mouth and start calling them teenage "merchant marine organizers", once the mission is complete (the next day). He must think we're all idiots. He's now blaming Obama for killing these terrorist pirates who had a US hostage at gun point. I guess I need to keep reminding myself that he's a multi-million dollar a year entertainer. This is how he makes his living. I don't really see how this topic is that entertaining, or can be twisted so pervertedly.

Below are Rush's exact words. You'd have to hear him say it to understand how ridiculous this is. He actually was sounding all compassionate if you can imagine that.

Rush is a piece of work alright! I never cared for him myself!
Those KIDS got what they asked for IMO.
There's much better talk show hosts than him!

 

If it's the program I think I heard he was being sarcastic and pointing out the absurdity of coddling criminals that you usually hear when some punk shoots his parents and asks for mercy because he is an orphan.

 

I heard that there were some liberals such as rev. Al Sharpton bemoaning that those poor kids were shot unjustifiably by the Navy and that they just wanted to go home because they were hungry and out of fuel and that they wouldn't have hurt the captain as he was their only bargaining chip! Those poor poor little boys!

IMO.

 

I'd have to say if they were teenagers, then they had some sort of reasoning skills. Maybe they should have used them before they chose the particular line of work they were in. Maybe somewhere, in the Pirates Handbook, there should be some type of warning that this line of work can be hazardous to your health.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say most of us really wouldn't care how old a group of people were holding an AK-47 to our heads, someone just shoot them.

The learning curve is severe for these people, but when you attempt to take over US interests, there will potentially be a severe price to pay.
