Guess you're referring to what Bernie Sanders would do if he accidentally got in. Tax us to death to pay for all the freebies he's wanting to hand out. "Free College education" to name one of his proposals. Guess who'd foot the bill on that one...

Yep, it'd be you and me. I often wonder if the youth that want all these freebies (which I can't afford to give my own sons) would have the courtesy to rob their fellow citizens personally rather than send the government to steal it from us. Probably too lazy.

IMHO Sanders would send the economy into a tail spin. What little industry and manufacturing we have left would sprint to foreign shores.

Been thinking about the whole socialist redistribution ideals of Bernie Sanders and his ilk. I'd appreciate if you had the decency to TRY to rob my family of its hard earned money personally, rather than sending the federal government to take it by force. The more you let government "care" for you the more freedoms you lose.

A government with the power to give you anything also has the power to take everything away.

The people who have had these systems forced on them or let them come on slowly like here in the US are in for a rude awakening when they don't have any more of someone's wealth to spread around because they've driven everybody into the same low standard of living. Then everyone gets to share in the misery.

Like the USSR and their giant collective farms. Couldn't produce enough to feed their own people.A lot of it was laziness, lack of effort, along with corruption. If one guy next to you is making the same as you are and slacking off, what incentive is there for you to work hard? They even gave the people small plots of ground to produce their own vegetables to sell. The way I've understood is that all these people and their individual small plots produced almost as much as those giant communal farms did.Take away competition, rewards and incentives for hard work and there you are. Bernie would lead us down that path I'm sure of that.

No way I'd give a thug money. Even if they had an ankle monitor and a go pro camera glued to their head. Look at all the money some thugs get paid playing football and still can't stay out of trouble.
