Communicators/2-way radios
#1
Just curious how many of you use 2 way radios or "communicators" while riding...We had a near tragic accident that thankfully no one was injured in a fews days ago that would have been avoided had we been using radios. Anyone have any experience with the Collett brand or the Chatterbox brand? Those are the two I'm looking at.

i just got a pair of cheap audiovox FRS radios from a discount store. theyre really small, and come with chargers, batteries, earbuds with little mic booms attached. i used a little piece of tape to keep the earbud in and clip the radio to my waistband. they work great!
and i just talk to turn on the mic. I dont know how we did without them since now we are not stopping at every intersection but talking about it before we get there.
good for about 2 miles, they work well for me.
Oh i had to take the cheekpads out of the helmet [they snap in anyway] youll never miss them.
