Whats your best 1/4 mile time, and what do you drive?

I drive a 86 Chevrolet C10 Silverado with a 305CI V8

Engine mods:
Engine Completely Rebuilt
Bored .30 Over
Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold
Edelbrock Performer 600CFM 4bll Carb
Mild Cam
Dynomax Headers, true duals, no Cats and Turbo Mufflers.

I have only run this truck one time, I got a bad reaction time, and spun way to bad off start.
Reaction Time: .915
E.T. : 17.383
MPH : 77.616

Believe it or not I beat the dude I was racing, He was driving a 85 C10 with a Stock 305CI. His E.T. was a 19.204.

I've been to the track a few times never had anything very fast though.

I took my 91 Mustang GT Automatic w/2.73s all stock except K&N Cone and Dynomax cat-back to the track. Car had about 110,000 miles on it and best I could get was a 15.7 don't remember MPH seems like it was 97 not sure though.

Took my 1987 Shelby Shadow CSX all stock with very worn tires and ran a 15.9 with major traction problems.

Ran my 92 300ZX 2+2 Automatic Non-Turbo and turned a pathetic 17.2. It was sad because the car looked fast and everyone there was expecting at least mid 15's bid it didn't happen. Car was to heavy not to mention an automatic!

My father and I traded an 03 Grizzly 660 for a Vega drag car with a 358ci in it roll cage and all that. It was supposed to run 10.9s I never got to try it out because I had to work all summer but my dad took it and got an 11.4 out of it (his first time on the track in 15 or more years) but we decided to sell it.

Out of all these cars I would say the funnest at the track was the Shadow CSX. I paid $1500 for that car beat the heck out of it then sold it for $1200 not much of a loss. If I would have had the money to add a few performance parts it would have been a 13sec car no problem. Turbo Dodges are an amazing bang for the buck.

Thats pretty impressive Dusty03. Im pretty sure I could run maybe atleast a 16.9 if I could get traction and got a decent reaction time. I know that isnt good but for a Heavy truck and lil 305, I think thats pretty good.

wteceraserman, my cousin owns a 02 Trans Am WS6 with a 6speed. He let me drive it to my prom, omg I think I enjoyed it more than prom!! I swear all I had to do was get the RPMs up to 3000 and just shift in second and it would bark the tires with ease!! Can it go sideways? I think thats what it was made for, his dint have traction control! I fell in love with that car, hated I had to give it back to him!!!
