It's a good place to buy stuff but you have to look out for scammers always e-mail the person before bidding and ask lots of questions

I buy lots of stuff from Ebay. Check the sellers feedback and email them with questions. Never get caught in a bidding war. Do your research on what your bidding on for price and quality. Set your price and if someone outbids you let them have it there will be others to bid on.

Good advice. Their alot of scammers out their but if you use common sence you will do fine. I seel and buy all the time and have never got burnered yet.

1) If it looks to good to be true it is.
2) Check their history and feed back, If they have a history of selling / buying beeny babys and all of the sudden they are selling a 2003 grizzley for $3000 pass on it ! they have had their ID stolen and its a scam.
3) Never buy anything with out a picture and a long desciption.
4) If its a big ticket item pick it up in person... when you pay the bill.
5) Their are several guys that only deal in ATV stuff, they have a history with 1000+ sales . These guys are blast to deal with, ship fast and secure.
6) Pay with a postal money order, cheap and you have the security of getting your money back if the auction goes wrong, it will take a while though.
7) Know the going price. Sometimes I see guys pay almost what a new item goes for
8) Dont assume the seller knows what hes talking about, he may think it fits the year ATV you have but in reality its up to you to make sure it fits.

HI: missgirl

Ebay may have the item you want but there are a lot of scams out there have to be careful. The better way is to try JC Whitney ATV Catalog. Basstracker

I've gotten burned once on Ebay. My own fault for not checking seller out. Have also had very good results with everything else I've bought from there. Check feedback, email questions. Check prices on shipping. It may seem cheap until they triple what shipping would have been. Good luck.

Every time I bid on something the price goes through the roof.

I was bidding on a new CB radio. The one on E-bay sold for $210.00. The same one sells for $158.00 at a local truckstop and I can hold this one in my hand, check it for damage etc.

I was gonna bid on a diesel truck model. The bid started at $60.00 with a "buy it now" price of $100.

I can buy the same one at a hobbie store for $58.

Wassup with that?

Chris, I know what you mean. I've seen K&N filters with a buy it now price of 34.95, plus shipping. I can buy it at my dealer for 34.00. Sometimes it just makes you wonder how many people just buy off Ebay and think they got a good deal.
