Are there any tricks out there on polishing aluminum parts like the side cases of the engine? I was wondering if there was a trick to it to speed up the process. It seems like it would take hours and hours to do and then it would be difficult to get around the letters like Honda or Yamaha. help please?

I use a Craftsman rotary tool with the flexible pencil grip extension to buff out tight grooves.

The hardest part is taking the anodized paint off the motor cases. I removed my side cases and blasted them with plastic bead. Then went with a dremel tool with a 3 step compound. For the bigger parts get a low rpm bench grinder and put some dico buffing wheels on the grinder. They also sell 3 tubes of different rubbing compound. It takes a long time but it is worth it
