Any handicapped riders out there?
Hi, I have permenant nerve damage in my legs. A steel plate in my back and a artifical left knee. I still can walk fairly decent for about 1/4 mile then my legs feel like they caught on fire. ATV's are the greatest thing invented for handicapped and older people. I just stopped riding motorcycles this year myself and bought a new 350 bruin. I like the lighter weight of the bruin in case I have to muscle it around. I also plan on using the bruin for turkey and grouse hunting. My wife rides with me and we trailer my atv about 38 miles down to the mountains. We do this about twice a week. The last part of April we will be going up to northen minesota until late October, up there I can take off from my back yard and ride all day. I am anxious to get back up there to do some riding and catch some walleyes. I enjoy life and do not feel sorry for myself, life is what we make it. Glad to hear from a fellow handicapped rider. lol

I saw a crash on real TV where a guy was clearing a large gap on a dirtbike to a flatbed trailer (the ones you pull behind a semi), he didnt have enough speed and landed up under the trailer wrapping around one of the legs used to hold up the "landing ramp". he was paralyzed from the waist down and needed a prostetic leg, when he was better, he was riding a wolverine.
