The Terraserver images can be as recent as a couple of years to as old as 10 years depending upon when the satellite was passing your area.

You'll notice that 75% of of NH and all of ME are yet to be imaged.

I had to revive this old tread. I like checking out some of my old jobsites, etc. But I was goofing off and wanted to check out New York, twin towers. Type in the state and city and click. Keep an eye on the date on the upper right corner. The date changes as you get to a closer veiw. When you get near the tower area, you will see smoke. The date is sept 15, 2001. You can zoom in closer and see the mess. You get even closer and the buildings appear, July 2001. I just thought it was a weird coincidence. Neat site though.

 

Thats awsome my house is there, 93 construction, my parents 5-6 years old, not there.

What's even wierder is that all other buildings are seen at an angle from the west side but of the WTC buildings we see the east facing surface, as though the buildings were toppling over on the rest of the city. See what I mean?
