We have owned the AXL - Thunder 90 since April of this year. There were two problems with it. First, a little peice of plastic from the gas tank obstructed the fuel flow thus the quad wouldn't start. The mechanic at the dealership said he had seen this problem a couple of time before. Second, I don't think its a problem but I could be wrong, is the rear brake squeaks almost all of the time when he uses it. It doesn't squeak when no brake pressure is applied. The brake works but it gets annoying sometimes.

No problems with the front brakes.

Our E-ton has around 350 miles on it.

Is the E-ton under warrenty? Has this quad been wrecked?

Yes it's still under warranty and I have talked to E-ton about the brakes and they tell me to take it back to the dealer. The other problems I have not discussed with them yet.As far as I know it has not been wrecked. two of my neighbors kids have the Dxl and have only had wiring problems to the starter(zipped strip to tight to the frame)problems, their brakes squeak also.

You can fix the grips with a little grip glue its about $5-6 a tube. I guarantee when you put that stuff on they will NEVER be lose again.

I would take it to the dealer & show him all the problems. I haven't noticed any rattles in the E-ton.

Check with your dealer on the gas cap issue. Our service dept. swaps them out for new ones, as per some sort of recall on them from E-ton.

Fixxer78,

We purchased ours a the Honda-Yamaha-Kawasaki-Arctic Cat dealership.

There is a Polaris-Suzuki-Kawasaki dealership thats a half hour away that sells them also.

We like our E-ton 90, it is faster than the 2 suzuki LT-80's in our club. It is wider, thus more stable for the young ones & even has a horn.

How about yours?

Ours is like a Timex watch! After a year of constant beating, I just replaced all brake shoes and had quite a bit of sludge in the rear drum from water crossings....but now its fine. The shrouds all clang till you put some locktite on the bolts. The only leak is from too much injecter oil in the resivour. Can't seem to find a way to kill it! Grips loosened too, more glue!
