I've always heard that posting a VIN# online isn't a good idea, so I probably wouldn't. Just try to give as much detail(custom parts, any flaws, anything different) and maybe if someone sees one that fits the description, they can somehow get the VIN and PM you? Did the EX have any custom parts or anything that sets it apart?
Another thing, may seem like common sense, but give the police all the info, Vin#, any mods, maybe try to remember any suspicious activity prior to them getting stolen, things like that could definitely help in the long run. I've read on here about guys getting there quads back after them having been missing for a while because the police had specific info.

dude that really sux, yeah my gurlfriends fourwheeler got stolen one night when she came into my house for a half an hour and someone put it in a truck and left with in 5 mins....... wierd, but the cops found it about 5 miles away in like an hour because he left it in his truck when he when up to the bar.... what a idiot.
