Default Thumb throttle vs Twist throttle?

Wanna hear some pros/cons. Am considering converting over to a twist throttle on a raptor, but want some input first

Thanks

Twists come in handy for quads with throttle problems like sticky cables, dual carbs . If you do a lot of stand up riding try rotating the thumb throttle up a little. I like the twist for bikes but absolutly hate thumb on a quad. I think its because the quads bars turn much more than bikes that make precision control diffcult for me. I suggest riding a quad with a twist and decide for yourself.

Thumb throttles are so that your girlfriend can ride over to the bathrooms w/o crashing.

I hate thumb throttles, thats the 1st thing to go on my stuff.

i've rode a 400ex with a twist. about 1/4 turn from closed to wide open. try hittin some whoops and keepin the throttle steady. i personally didnt like the twist in that situation.

this is true at first. but after having mine for a couple of mounths now i would hate to have a thumb throttle on a fast bike. now on a slower bike like my mag 500 it's perfect to have a thumb throttle. it realy takes a few rides to get used to but once you do you will never go back. imo
