Just hooked up my DSL last night and played a few online games...I smoked the competition for the most part, but there was your occasional cheater who all of a sudden got like 10 quad lengths ahead of me. In order to hook any game console up to play on-line, you need a network connection. This is done through a network adapter either built in to the console, or one that can be installed in the console or by USB. THe only two options to play on-line without to much "lag" are DSL and Cable. If you already have one of these connections, you can hook up your console by getting a Router and hooking everything through it. The Router will supply all the IP addresses to everything that is hooked to it.
