Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

Kind of funny that I post a mirror of the original, but I'm the propagandist.
You don;t know me at all, yet you claim I'm not a "real" Libertarian. Does it help your position to make unfounded claims?
I am anti-big governement. I think everyone should be responsible for their own actions. I work for a living, and have since I was 14. I served 9 years in the Marines, including Desert Storm/Desert Shield. I voted for Reagan, and Bush Sr. as the best option of their time. I voted against Clinton both times, though I supported Democratic Senators at that time.
I register independant, have Libertarian values, and vote for the best option availiable. You will never see me join the flock and vote for anyone just because of their party, or vote straight ticket.
I don't support the Republicans much anymore because they are as big governement as the Democrats anymore. Add the deep influence of the religious right that the Republicans are under now, and that takes them out of my choices. Several Democrats are heading that way too, further limiting the choices. I'll likely vote for a Libertarian candidate this time. Not in hopes of electing them, but in the hopes that a trend will form, and show the two self serving parties that other options are there, and America has decided to notice them. Pull them away from their constant power battle with each other, and make them serve America again.

Vote Republican if:
You want a ban on all stem cell research.
If you believe a woman has no rites over her own body
If you want the poor to continue to carry the tax burdon
If you want soldier retirement funds slashed
If you don't want any social security when you get old enough to collect
If you want your Internet rites taken away along with free speech in general
Most of these are basic Republican platform essentials, they cannot be denied, there is no gray area.
Also keep in mind: After Clinton and the Democrates left office there was a 593 TRILLION dollar surplus of funds.
Bush has been in office 4 years and that budget surplus is now a 5 TRILLION dollar hole. Keep him in another 4 years and there's no telling how deep in the hole we will be.
These are absolute facts people. They are not conjecture.
Republicans like to tout the gun control issue, but the problem is that the easier we make it for law abiding citizens to get guns, the easier it is for criminals too. It's a catch 22, and it's not fair. But sometimes we have to sacrafice our freedoms a little for safety. As a gun owner myself I have no problem with waiting for my permits, or taking tests, or what have you.

PS poor people don't pay any appreciable taxes in this country. That's why they're called "poor" people. 90% of our taxes are paid by the top 10% of wage earners.

Do your research buddy, and come back when you know what you are talking about and not just shooting from the hip on top of your rhetoric laced soap box.
You have no clue what you are talking about....as usual!

If that was directed at me I suggest you do the same as Rascal boy and do some RESEARCH!
It's easy to sit there and call people names, especially if you have NOTHING to offer in terms of meaningful insight.
If all Republicans are as bright as you two it's no wonder no reality can ever get through.

Okay. The poor people in this country paid 593 trillion dollars into our surplus that Bush lost. Yep.
One trillion dollars represents a little over $3,000 for every man woman and child in the US.
According to your math, every US citizen had paid in $1,779,000 (above and beyond the budget) and Bush lost it. My facts are straight, you need to drop the crack pipe.

Once again you are mixing facts. Twisting words is the best way to avoid the reality that you have no idea what you are talking about.
Poor people do not pay MORE taxes, they pay a higher ratio of tax per capital gain. And this is not just poor but middle and upper middle also.
And yes Bush has spent a 593 TRILLION dollar surplus in 4 years, mostly on this "war".
