Default Going to vote Democratic???

We've spent about 200 billion on this war. That is .0003 of your 593 trillion. Still on the crack pipe, eh?

NSA....let me correct you on some of your "absolute" facts that you posted.

1. "You want a ban on all stem cell research"
No, not true at all. The ban just affects harvesting stem cells from the fetus of aborted babies and
stem cells that are already created (i.e. they are frozen in the lab), I believe it also does not ban
research that can be done from stem cells that are a part of the after-birth process (i.e. after-birth
fluid, embylical(sp?) cord blood). It also does not ban privately funded research, so if a private
foundation wants to use a $billion to research stem cells they can. The ban only affects government
funded research.

2."If you believe a woman has no rites (that should be rights) over her own body"
Understand we are Pro-Woman, Pro-Child, Pro-Life. With new ultra-sound technology they can now
see the baby reacting to its environment within the first 3 months of conception (smiling, frowning, tc.)
That really does not sound like a glob of tissue that some Pro-Choice advocates want you to believe,
kind of sounds like human life dont you think. There is an adoption shortage in this country, so much
so that thousands of babies are adopted each year from other countries and brought back to the US.
Nearly 1 million babies dont need to be killed each year, many of these would be adopted. Also, why
do so many Pro-Choice advocates support killing babies, but oppose the death penalty of criminals?

3. "You want the poor to continue to carry the tax burden"
Come on....you have to be joking on this one, this is not even closely argueable. The top 2.7% of
American income earners pay almost half of the national income tax. The top 20% of income
income earners in the US pay for roughly 85% of federal income tax, come on now....lets keep it real
and tell me who the burden really is on, its on the top producers. The top producers who create
jobs for most of the population, top producers who spend money, top producers who invest in
new markets. And no, Im not rich nor did I come from a rich family....actually came from a very
middle class setting, but one day I will be wealthy and I dont want the US government penalizing
me for my success.

4. "If you want soldiers retirement funds slashed"
Not true at all, Its actually the reverse....its usually under democratic leadership that retirement
funds shrink. The retirement funds for retiring servicemen of our armed forces is part of the DOD
budget, and it has always been the democrats that try to reduce this budget and shrink the mililtary
and cut cost. Billary Clintion did this through out the 90's, left are military shrunk down in size and
hurting for resources.

Im going to let you go for now NSA1149 and let you think about some of this. I sincerely hope you dont
work for the NSA as that does not make me feel any safer.

dirthead:

Where exactly did you get those "facts" ? From the Republican National Convention script?

First off: The abotion issue is insane. NO ONE wants babies aborted at 3 months, that's a pathetic argument at best. Also this supposed adoption argument is also way off. People go outside the US for babies because the ones born here that are up for adoption A go though too much scrutiny for the adoptive parents, and the quality of the "DNA" is questionable more often than not.

Second: I don't know where you got your tax info from, but it's far different than what was reported by CNN just last week.

Bush has indeed slashed soldier retirement funds, look it up. Kerry has a plan to initiate a 401k type plan for retired soldiers.

And why is it that NO ONE has taken issue with the fact that our"tough guy" President skipped out on Vietnam, while Kerry (the man who supposedly can't protect us) was there in Vietnam in one of the most dangerous positions, AS A LEADER!

The Clinton supporters didn't seem to think it was much of an issue when he was in office so why should it be an issue with Bush?

Correct me if I'm mistaken but didn't John Kerry throw his metals out in protest when he voluntarily left active duty to join the ranks of Jane Fonda?? And now that he is the Democratic hopful he is suddenly so proud of the same metals he tossed out that we are all suppose to bow down to his great heroism?? I'm not bashing him for earning his metals I'm just a little confused about what the agendy is suppose to be.

You made my point for me, thank you!

It was an issue to the Republicans when it came to Clinton. They called him every name they could think of for missing out on Vietnam. But Bush has not even been mentioned for his escape job at all!

But they have bashed Kerry saying he's not the man to lead this country during a war. Why not? He's obviously got the credentials, even MORE than Bush does.

Yes Kerry did protest the war. AFTER he did his tour of duty. He saw the killing and death first hand and didn't think we were right to be there. That does not take away what he did while he was there. In fact it says even more that he gave himself to his country even though he might not have agreed with the cause. Country before cause, that says something.
