That's a very simple way to look at it, but unfortunately, it is a way of ignorance and not knowing real economic fact. We could go back and forth all day on this. But it just shows that you read nothing that i said earlier and do not want to know the real story. The economy wasnt a result of ANYTHING that clinton did. It was already is an upturn the last qarter of the the first president bush's term. (The tech sector fueled that and would have happened regardless of who was in office.)
AND it was in a down turn the last quarter of Clinton's term.

To blindy say that, "oh Clinton did it all .. it must be better with a democrat in office," is just nuts. By that logic, i guess Jimmy Carter was the BEST president we ever had? remember that economy?

The democrats claim every good thing, not republicans. The Republican congress wrote and passed the balanced budget amendment that democrat Clinton claimed victory on.

Look it up if you dont beleive me; but you are not offerring any facts for your claim.

 

Fact, 81-93 Republicans economy steady decline. Typical union busting. Rich get richer, poor gets poorer and the line between middle class and poor is blurred. Didn't do much for me in 12 years.

Fact, 93-01 Democrats lower interest rates, fueling work, jobs, better economy. National debt erased.

How can anyone argue with the FACTS.

Dude, Democrats do nothing to lower interest rates. Alan Greenspn does that. Reagan appointed him. Bush reappointed him. Clinton reappointed him. Bush 2 reappointed him. I never heard of a democrat wanting to cut corporate taxes??? They are always against that so how could they have fueled the work, jobs and economy? Truth: they didnt. The republicans are always mentioning and doing lower taxes. What you mention is trickle down economics or "Reaganomics" which is the very heart of the republican tax ideas b/c, as you just mentioned, they work.

National Debt erased. BS BS BS BS BS. THe debt, the entire trillions of dollars of DEBT will NEVER be erased. Clinton said he erased the DEFICIT. 2 vastly different things. AHH... but he didnt erased it because it was the REPUBLICAN controlled congress that authored the balanced budget amendment that he signed. Big deal, any president would have signed it. As far as the 'surplus' that clinton had PROJECTED, it was BS. THERE NEVER WAS A SURPLUS. It was mere projections over the next 10-15 years with alot of IFs attached to it. No, my friend you have been mislead on the true facts.

The 80's was called the me, material generation. You know why? Because of a recovering, propering economy. because a result of reaganomics, not democratic, socialists welfare state economics that the democrats push.
