I see we agree on something. The domestic policy is worthless i will give you that and neither one will solve it. bush is a semi big government rebublican and kerry is an astronomical size government liberal. I am all for america first. and I am all for the Helping no one else as well. after all what does america get for helping all these other countries? how about a big pole in the @$$. America provides billions of dollars in forein Aid. Call me cold but If everyone in africa is gonna die from aids or starvation that is not our problem. if they cannot produce the food or trade to feed their people some need to die. and they will. its what has happend all through the development of humanity. Its sad but true. I come from a big time bible thumpin religion spreading family. I myself do not see the need to try and lead people or sway them to one religion or another thats up to you to be as good of person as you can be and if you feel religion will help you to be a better person so beit. granted most so called religious folks tend to lead crappy lives and think goin to church is gonna make that all better. Lil insight for ya IT DOESN'T.. anyway back to these missionaries and what not they are the ones who should be supplying the forien aid. through donations of they congregations and what not or a private industry like red cross or sompin? they are private Non profit right? maybe im wrong. anyway. GOVERNMENT has no business. again the establishment of the government was for one purpose to protect the freedoms of the american "man" at whatever cost. Not take care of the people because they cant make a buck or are lazy and have 12 kids locked in the closet sittin on welfare eatin ding dongs all day and smokin crack. those people should die or get a job. I have been thinking of developing another charity organization for those injured in motorcycle and quad accidents to help take care of their wifes and kids and them if need be.. But ya know something that would be a program supported by lovers of the sport, benifited by lovers of the sport who had a mishap. AGAIN not a government responsibility. if the government gave us our money we could easily afford to take care of our fellow man as we see fit. Let me have my money and it will be spent where it should be. these operations of foriners should be stopped. Science is a touchy subject on federal funding. but like everything private industry should take care of research and charge a rate or price comensurate with the research involved to recover expenses. and if e have our money we will pay for the research we as american people think is appropriate by BUYING products and services from those companies who perform the R&D.

I may be some off off the wall Conservative Libertarian cross(NOT LIBERAL) but here is another way to look at the future of america after this upcoming election. We have a president right now all these people want to say is stupid and has his head burried in his panties or whatever. But look at it like this, at least the man says what he is gonna do and does his damdest to perform on it and its not neccesarily the most popular thing. I tell ya I love and respect cops. they have one of the hardest jobs. everyone hates them and they do what they have to do to get the job done. everyone critizes them so much. why can you do a better job. if so get off your @$$ and do it.. there is allot to be said for a mans integrity. stand up for what ya believe in and follow it up. life aint about bein popular its about bein a good person and trying to do your best.
now we have this man Toilet Bowl Kerry.. ok thats inapropriate. John. the man is so inconsistant its ridiculous. I cant say that it would give us a better view in the worlds eyes if every time someone kicked us in the nuts we called them up said what do you want and paid em off. or every lil special interest group in the country. Cowtowing to these people is what kerry is all about kissin the butts of all the misfitts of the american society for his political gain. Marriage MAN-WOMAN. it was founded as a religeous union between to people to be sure the man cared for the woman he was knockin up and makin lil kids with.. last time i check sum dude pluggin another is not gonna pop out a baby thus no need for a marriage, same with the Jungle muchers. really if people had a lil self respect it would solve theproblems of the world. all these hollywood types need to shut their pieholes and get a friggin brain. anyhow i prolly make no sense. its all good.

Its one of the toughest jobs around. gotta salute all our uniformed men and women. i just wish them cops would lay off the tickets. i tell ya TOOO MANY issued here. and always respectful and polite and look out for their saftey when they pull me over. No, you make a very good point! I think this is where Kerry is trying to drum up votes where-ever he can. He needs everyone to vote for him so he is going to take everyside possible. If only all of us could live by your words! Life is not about being popular (many people just want to feel a sense of belonging and respect).

You say that I am narrow in perspective then you reduce your comments to some personal instance. How much more narrow can you get then that?

My question is where was his own insurance? You are correct in that we cannot plan for everything. However, If we don't have the savings we ought to have the insurance to cover the unexpected. I was always taught that you should have insurnace while your young and its cheap. when you're old you should cancel the insurance and life off the saving because you can't afford the rates. I also know the bad unplanned things happen. All we can do is make the best of it. I still don't see how leaning on the government is going to solve your friends case or any other situation like it. Do you expect a different solution to the health industry then was delivered to the SS program under the current government?
