Default who you voting for?

I know and have known quite a few of these "rich" people in my life.

By and large, they are the ones who work very long days, never take vacations, have huge responisibility and stress, and have risked their own financial butts to get where they are. Most all of them earn it big time, and they pay taxes through the nose.

And they get spit on by every jealous b@st@rd out there who thinks they are "owed" something.

Something to remember and think about, even though we have a president, how much do you really think he runs the country? It doesn't matter Democrat or Republic, we would be in Iraq. Can we get out right now....NO, we started something and we have to finish it. When it didn't start with Bush 1 after Desert Storm, the Libs criticized him for not finishing the job. Now Bush 2 is in there and they are criticizing him for doing the job...so which is it? Its a policical scam from the Democrats.

You people make the decisions, not the president, he follows what the country feels. He has a policy in place to reduce taxes and you can't make everyone happy, not everyone has the same job, makes the same money, etc. For those rich people out there, good on you....you bust your butts to make more money than me. I don't make the extra effort to make as much as you, but you did, so good for you, I'm happy for you.

For you people complaining, its only because you don't get off your *** to make that much money. But one thing is for sure, if you are of age, you can vote. My vote is with Bush. He stands for what I believe in....the Constitution....equals rights, the second Amendment, people and happiness...

This does not sound like living to me. What are these people working for if they never take vacations always working very long days and always being stressed.

So far, the democrats have supported unions and unions are constantly fighting to protect every workers rights. Even non-union workers conditions are improved by the constant work of the unions.

I also enjoy the money that I make when working above and beyond the 40 hour work week. If you have been watching the news, you will see that Bush has been attacking overtime pay. Anything beyond 40 hours is time away from my family and is more valuable to me.

These so called tax breaks or money back from Bush does not mean much to the people who are in the unemployment line.

Great! I can tell my Grandchildren that I got two votes. That's much better than just voting for myself.

Free pizza, beer and atv's for everyone that votes for me. Wine coolers for the woman. j/k

I still don't understand why people think that unions are here to protect them. Unions exist for one reason. To make MONEY. Just like the "evil" rich CEO's. I've been working for the same company for more than 25 years and no one at my company wants a union. I make anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 times overtime pay for anything over my scheduled work week. I get 5 weeks vacation, a very good insurance and dental plan, get treated fairly by upper management, ect.,,,,what more could a union offer me? Dems want to increase taxes,,,this is no secret,,,they're not even trying to hide it. All you union workers, or any worker for that matter, take a look at your paycheck. Calculate what % tax you are paying, then figure in your union dues. I say enough is enough. Could you not spend that money better than the government or your union? I've also never understood why most everyone blames the sitting president for unemploryment. Most,,,not all,,,of the people in the unemployment lines DON'T WANT TO WORK! They are there just going thru the motions so they can get their unemployment check ,,,which you and I are paying for with these high taxes. You know what,,,if our government cut out the unemployment checks all together, unemployment would vanish. Most Republican presidents have taken a "tough love" approach to unemployment,,,which is exactly what Bush has tried to do. You have a certain amount of time to be on unemployment, then the $$$ stops. Guess what,,,when the $$$ stops, those people go out and take one of those jobs that was offered to them earlier. Dems want to keep giving out "handouts" mainly just to win votes at election time. If you listen to most Dems, they all talk about what the government can "give" them,,,very seldom do you hear them talk about,, "what can I make of myself, on my own". Give me a Republican president any time...I'm still voting for BUSH!

these people are driven to achieve more than the standard. it is their perrogotive. maybe they dont see eye to eye with you. but i guess you would want to tax them harder because, "they are rich and dont need it."

..the people who are in the unemployment line.
in alot of cases these are the people that arent willing to work. they are also alot of people that were laid off during the techboom bust in 2000 (by the way, before Bush took office). alot of jobs in the tech sector went down.

you will see that Bush has been attacking overtime pay. Anything beyond 40 hours is time away from my family and is more valuable to me.
why dont you read the policy first? it will bring alot of people up to be able to collect overtime. it also provides for those that do not want the overtime to get comp time; or in other words, time that you could spend with your family. it does lay out that if you make over 100K per year- chances are you will not get overtime if you are an hourly employee; but i dont know of any company that has anyone punching a clock that is making 100K/yr. usually these people are salary already. In such cases, we all know that salary is a screw and the overtime laws dont effect salary people anyway.
