So he just sits there to see how I'm going to leave the gas station, I guess. Being the law abiding citizen that I am I simply wave at him. Guess it caught him off guard, so as waves back at me in a split second I jumped on the Raptor & began to haul a**. In my mind I'm thinking, if he's going to give me a ticket he's going to earn it today!!!! I knew I had about a mile on pavement to ride before I could hit the dirt. Running & Gunning through the streets was not an option here... Quads on the wet pavement makes excellent sliders and my fellow officer of the law found that out the hard way. He couldn't keep up with me as I was running my Raptor like I stole it. Adrelanie pumping so much felt like I was high....Did I get caught..not a chance, but I won't be riding in that area for at least six months. Ok here's a real life scenerio I witnessed ...... Long ago in a land far, far, (Los Angeles, CA) During my daily commute from the beautiful San Fernando Valley to smog infested downtown L.A., I saw the funniest ****. It was the usual free for all on the freeway (meaning if you want a 2 hour commute to go 25 miles you get behind somebody and let the crowd take you, or you can get on your pony and start cutting ppl off which cuts your drive time in half even though you may **** off 100-500 drivers, oh well) anyways this particular van did the unthinkable and cut off a CHPer {California Highway Patroler) I was right behind him jumpinh lanes and slowed down before I jumped out in front of the CHPer. Well the officer thru on his lights and set chase. Well the dude in the white van was not having it so he hit the gas right in between 2 semis that were trying to occupy the same lane. In the cunfusion I guess one of the semis didn't see the CHPer and cut him right off. The officer tried to go around but the other semi cut the lane off as he was trying to move over for the CHPer. Well the officer starts honking and trying to go around to the fourth lane but no good that lane was cut off by drivers that stopped for the CHPer. The cop had no where to go. He pulled back waited 10 seconds turned off his lights and just kept on with traffic. I was like no freaking way the cop gave up in a no win situation, maybe he got the licence plate, maybe had back up down the freeway, or maybe he just thought awe what the hell. I don't know, the fact is he just stopped chasing, and I pulled up right next to him and was signaling him, shrugging my shoulders mouthing the words {what happened?}. He just smiled, hit his lights one time and jumped off the freeway. Needless to say I laughed all the way to work.

Big Black,
it's good to know that you have the resources available to you to find this information. But your posts are doing nothing but repeating themselves. How many more ways can you find to type the same info? You've made your point. We understand that several law enforcement agenices across the nation feel that a chase situation is not warranted in this situation. Point taken.
On the flip side, one can view this as a scenario where we have tried to legislate against stupidity, and unfortunately, have succeeded. This leads up to more frivolous law suits and no personal reponsibility. A bunch of "mama's boys".
Don't get me wrong here. I am sorry as anyone that this kid lost his life. If things would have been done differently on both sides, this could have been prevented. The frivolous suits and "mama's boys" are a result of compassion getting in the way of better judgement.

Now it’s your turn to sing your verse one more time but yet try to discourage others from doing the same.
BTW I have provided facts to support my side but all you have are opinions, I am more inclined to listen to them with supporting research.

Those cops were not at fault in the least bit and I applaud them for not saving him while he was freezing to death in that water! That kid got what he had coming. I'll bet he wont make that mistake again!
