MAN OF THE YEAR !!!!

reality check. bush is a moron. the problem is, we had that moron, or another moron to choose from. so, the biggest moron won. i dont know about all of you's, but i dont like seeing american men die in a country we didn't have any reason to be in. yes, we needed to fight terrorism, and we arent. we put all are money in a country that could not even support itsself, and left afganastan weaker of men, money. as for spreading democracy. well, hitler was spreading natzi rule, and russia wanted to spread communism. they wern't right, and neither is bush for doing so. heck, lets be real. were in bed with a tyrant, where 13 of the 9 11 attachers came from. kawait. why, oil. Iraq is a bad situation all the way around. its just a shame our american soulders are bogged down there, and the terrorists NOW have a new place to call home.
this should ruffle some feathers, lol. man of the year. lol. moron of the year is more like it.
just my 02

As for you note on 911? Mich i think your info is incorrect werent the 13 of saudi origin? i dunno I could care less where they came. show me the link that says the Kuwait government funded the operations or sponserd them in some way? Show me the saudi Government? show me some other government that sponsered it or felt it was a good thing that it happend? I can only think of a few governments that didnt denounce the act against america. um IRAQ and AFGANISTAN and IRAN and N Korea. So there be your list of who all will feel the wrath of the great american WAR MACHINE! Why is it you feel the spread of freedom is not a noble cause?

Baldmike, just a quick question... Why does each of your posts contain some reference to homosexual activity? Yes each is said in a derogatory fashion and each is accusatory to someone else, but still the talk always goes straight to homosexuality. When the subject in discussion is as diverse as war in the middle east and who Time selects as man of the Year, whats with all this g@y talk?

The hero who stood up to Rumsfeld and asked about the armor for the humvees. No question about it. Any one whos spent time in the military, knows about the courage it takes to question authority...and this guy did.
He got action , on something that even congress couldnt do, due to the bush machine stopping them. Now that its been spotlighted, and people are watching the issue, ...now were seeing action.
This probably saved lives, in direct contrast to bush costing lives.

Man, you have to be really kidding us all or ill informed. Your "hero" Thomas jerry Wilson was set up by a liberal reporter who didn't have the ***** to ask the question so he had this scum bag ask it for him. He may have different views of the war but while you are a solder in this war you should not question the actions of the commandors. You do not have the same rights or freedom of speech when you are in the service.
The last president cut funding for little things like body armor, armored vehicles, etc. All the things that your brave little "hero" was bitchin about. Go figure. Your "hero" and others never said a thing about that small fact of life

19 more Americans killed today, election worjers executed in broad daylight Monday, more reports about US Military torture in Gitmo and Abu Graib. Boy, Bush and his clowns are really doing a great job promoting Democracy in the Arab world.
And you guys who sit here rooting for Bush are complicite in this mess.....

It's called war Bro. People will die. As wars go, this war has had the fewer solders killed in action than any before. Yes, it's sad but a fact of war that good people are killed in battle. Let us battle without any regard to lives like those Ba$tards do and we could own that whole country in days. But that's not how the US plays the game.
Saddam Insane killed about as many in one day than have been lost in the whole war so far. Where were all of you caring folks at that time? "oh ya, Bush wasn't president at that time. I get it now..............

Fewer soldiers killed, but we are in the thousands when you count maimed and amputees...
Saddamm killed, blah, blah, blah......There are and always have been tyrants throughout the world who kill their citzens. Millions have died by African warlords in the last decade, millions..... No one does a thing about it... It is not the job of our military to police the world. A lot of those who Saddam killed were the very type of religious nuts that are killing our boys now. At least he had his Islamic nuts under control. Now they are free...
If you think we attacked Iraq to stop Saddam from killing his people you are naive. If you think that any Arab country is going to hold valid democratic elections, supervised by the US, you are really naive. The day we leave Iraq breaks into cival war.
This irresponsible use our our great miltary, for Bush's fantasy of turning tribal Muslims, who hold 2nd century belief systems at their core, into a free country is reprehensible. It has been carried out with little or no understanding of Arab culture. It is a waste of US soldiers and tax dollars. It is pure fantasy held by neocons who can't understand anything outside of their own little world's view.
Keep supporting this war, I hope it makes you feel real patriotic.
