Fewer soldiers killed, but we are in the thousands when you count maimed and amputees...

Saddamm killed, blah, blah, blah......There are and always have been tyrants throughout the world who kill their citzens. Millions have died by African warlords in the last decade, millions..... No one does a thing about it... It is not the job of our military to police the world. A lot of those who Saddam killed were the very type of religious nuts that are killing our boys now. At least he had his Islamic nuts under control. Now they are free...

If you think we attacked Iraq to stop Saddam from killing his people you are naive. If you think that any Arab country is going to hold valid democratic elections, supervised by the US, you are really naive. The day we leave Iraq breaks into cival war.

This irresponsible use our our great miltary, for Bush's fantasy of turning tribal Muslims, who hold 2nd century belief systems at their core, into a free country is reprehensible. It has been carried out with little or no understanding of Arab culture. It is a waste of US soldiers and tax dollars.
