they lost IN atlanta an 8-8 team last season they beat the cardinals who have won 2 playoff games in 50 years and clinton portis was hurt for washington and both the games they won were at home...

The Raiders preseason results have me a little concerned.

 

Guys, we all know preseason ball means very little. Long time steelers fan here [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. Any predictions as to when Parcells sits TO for good?

 

I pick my Chargers to get back to the playoffs this year. Why???

1) Phillip Rivers, though lacking in experience, will be mature enough to manage the game, make a play or 2 and not make many dumb mistakes.

2) L.T. Of course LT will get his yards and be spectacular, but have you seen Michael Turner and their other backs. The probably have the best backfield in the league. There is no better fullback than Lorenzo Neal.

3) Antonio Gates....simply the best TE in the game.

4) Defense overall, tough and mean, they will be hard to score against.

5) Antonio Cromartie, this kid will be the real deal. The likes of TO and Moss will be seeing low reception numbers with him around

6) Shawnne Merriman will, this year, become the premier linebacker in the league. After this season, people will be worried when they meet the Chargers.

Now the negatives:

O-line, need to find and keep healthy a left tackle, the rest of the line is fine. And the recievers need not make the huge play down field, but do need to make the catches when they come their way.

DALLAS COWBOYS!!!! but its hard to say who will win the NFC east this year...... i say dallas and washington make it to the playoffs this year

 

Used to think Washington before this preseason. With Brunell having a 48.1 QB rating, you have to think something is seriously wrong. Don't they have a new O coordinator?

 

he only will if TO keeps being lazy and wont practice, if TO has a problem with that and starts a media circus then he will do the same thing that he did in philly, he'll want out if he cant play

 

tough division, as long as TO doesnt mess with the team they should be contenders, all of those NFC East division games should be fun to watch[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
