I have cable internet now but the site I used to use to download music must be down (WinMX). Does anyone have a good alternative site for downloading music? Thanks in advance.

i used to use winmx and it worked pretty good, then i used limewire, which was pretty cool. now i dont have any cuz none of them dl the songs anymore. could any1 tell me y? like, i install winmx or limewire and everything works, but then wen i try to dl a song, it wont dl. thanx for reminding me bought music dl's, lol.

Well I'm using limewire right now and seems to be working fine. My G/F WinMX won't work either so they are clearly down or something. I think they probably need to keep changing software or something to keep from getting shut down so there are probably updates that need to be kept up with.

Its free (or was), but i don't like it. I perfer bittorrent, there is all kind of stuff there

Guys, I get an error message saying that my firewall won't let limewire access the internet, or a loopback functiion isn't allowing the access........I shut my firewall off, I need help........
