Deaf ATVers
#1
Anyone out there who's deaf? I would like to know as far there are some deaf ATVers here in Minnesota. What about other states? Do you have deaf ATV clubs? Anyone know anyone who are deaf and rides ATVs.
And yes, I'm deaf. I'm new to this forums and would like to know who's in the deaf ATV community.

Yeah I read the forums about that situation - believe me, there are some deaf people who don't really know the grammar. It is nothing you should worry about - it is just that English is our second language.
My father owns a 1986 Yamaha Moto 4, back then there was no automatics, I'm profoundly deaf, but I could feel the machine. I have been very skeptical of automatics because I have been riding semi-autos for 19 years, finally got myself automatic ATV. Yes, its a lot better than semi-auto but does not have the power it has before. Just have to put on diff-lock then it'd be fine.

Fred, as you can see kodiak is from faribault. I dont know if you know anything about faribault, but aside from being the hometown of the tilt o' whirl they also have a very good deaf academy.
As for kodiak, I dont know much about deaf ATV clubs, as they are not brought up on the forum all that much. I am sure that there may be some out there. Get into contact with some of the atv clubs in minnesota and they should be able to direct you to what you are looking for. Welcome to the forums!

Yeah, I current am the employee at the Academy. Yes it's good academy, thanks for your compliment.
We have Minnesota Deaf ATV Club, but I'd like to know if there are any other states that have deaf ATV clubs or riders who are deaf. Just wanted to expand the community. Thanks!
