GM go work on a new diesel engine 7.4 V8 and 4.9 V6 in truck 2007.I heard rumor 2.9 V6 put on med size truck too. If this true magazine what said that. Cool some big engine diesel 7.4 wow. And ford 6.4 V8 and 4.5 V6 too.

Dodge has released news on a bigger 6.7L Cummins engine for 07. Go diesel or go home!!!!

 

I heard same thing about cummins 6.7. But other one will be all new make cummins V6 and V8. Right now jeep have a new diesel 3.0 V6 in 2007.

I hope they look similar because I dont want it to look out of date the first year The new diesels have insane power now days I remember the late 70's and early 80's they sucked,no power,noisey, and bad milage

 

You mean Isuzu. GM hasn't had in-house diesel development capability in 25-years. Dmax Ltd, the Ohio plant that produces Duramax diesel engines, is a joint venture between Isuzu and GM.

 

Hey georged you are correct duramax make in plant ohio and some make japan too.

Hey 4fitty you are correct not buy make first year wait to 2nd or 3rd if make some engine change better than first year.
