Wear Safety Gear!

I agree with you all boots are a good thing to have. Like Ginnis said though they cost $$, and thats $$ I dont have. Although I do have other boots that I wear everytime I ride, I would still like to get a pair of actual riding boots.

another piece of equipment most people consider a hassle to wear riding is a chest protector. But after a buddy and i hit a high tension fence riding side by side. I ended up with 2 broken ribs and he was wearing a protector and didnt even feel the impact. needless to say i will wear it no matter where im riding now.

HELMETS- not for me,rode for many years without, kids -yes goggles if its dusty only, just my opinion
I wish polaris would use less agressive footboards, they hurt your feet when your riding barefoot ,to the local swimming hole!ha ha but i do it.

unbelievable.... i guess it's person preference because i have kids and all but wearing a helmet would and is a priority when i get on my bike. If i got killed riding my bike, it will be with me wearing a helmet if for no other reason than i'm a good looking guy and i wouldn't want to mess up this face. Boots are next, just put a pair on sometime and rty to figure out how you would break anything wearing them. I do realise the cost but time off work and surgery is too. I hope nothing but the best for the folks out raising hell on your buggies but there are small steps a person should take to prevent injury. A person, if they had a choice to put a saddle on a horse, and ride vs. no saddle is a no-brainer. "They used to do it in the old days". I have my high school football helmet i will loan out. Metal and rocks are hard.....skull is soft! (sorry, i got a little carried away)
