If its yours. goto the dealer and goto the parts desk and order a key& switch. Install and your good togo [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] tell them the year and model and they can hook you up. you could also order online if you know the year and model.

the dealer where you bought it should have the info to just order another key without having to change the ignition switch.

This is the part number for a 2003 Trail Boss (didn't say what year you have) 4010390. Should be around 50 dollars.

On most year trailboss's , the key switch is very easy to install as it only clips on and has 3 plugs , some years had a 4th plug , so its very simply to do as they are also color coded , buy the key swicth and battery and start riding , good luck.
