Default Atv death....:(

Today not to far from were i live i guy and his son were riding there Sportsman500 down a dirt road, they lost control and rolled into a muck pond.

the quad held both of them under, but the dad lifted it enough for his son to get out.
the kid wasent strong enough to lift it of his dad, and by the time the firedepartment got there it was too late, he drowned. he was 49.

its sad..

That's tragic... at least the father was able to free his son out from under the ATV. I'm sure he was using everything he had to save his son despite his own situation.

So sad to hear. Can you imagine having to live with that for the rest of your life??? I've often heard of super-human strength in times like this, wish this was one of those stories. Prayers go out to the family.

Oh man, I feel so bad for the son. At least he was saved, but man, that's got to be hard on him having to watch that.

Sounds like this young man encountered the ultimate sacrifice.....his father taking care of his son instead of himself, as any good father in the situation would do. My sincere condolences to the family for their horrible loss.
