Sounds to me like it might be time to take the carb apart and clean it out...GOOD.

i have a Honda 250 Recon and everytime i put it in 1st gear it andgive it gas it will die, but i can put it in neutral and rev it up and it wont die. I have already cleaned the carb out. Do you have any suggestions on what else this could be and how i could fix it?
