How many still ride without a helmet?

WTF? I don't get bro! And at least I have the ***** to show my face on here. If you're reffering to my size, your just jealous. 6'6" 280lbs. of all man. LOL.
Just curious, with 8 years of college, what do you do with that education besides try to sound smart on the ATV connection?
LOL! I can't help but laugh at your arrogant comments dude.
They really are funny when you don't try to belittle people.

Tit for tat. You poke at me and can't take it when dished out to you? .... and I wouldn't exactly say "*****" is the reason, but whatever you say.

Whatever I want. Until some politician comes along with an attitude like yours and throws a wrench in my lifestyle.

I know.
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>They really are funny when you don't try to belittle people.</end quote></div>
I'd rather not belittle anyone. Makes me feel rather ill actually. I wish you could just respect people's right to decide how to run their own lives without them having to be stupid. Why can't a group of riders be riding w/o helmets and you just go on riding not giving it another thought??? Instead of saying to yourself, "Those guys are idiots." They may or may not be idiots, but if they are, its not because they choose not to wear a helmet.

It is always your right to wear a helmet doesn't mean it isn't our right to think what we want of people who don't wear helmets.

Take it easy Randy.
I really would like to know what you do with your education. If that's personal I respect that but I'm just curious. I'm still in school for web design/development so I haven't been able to take advantage if my 8 years of school yet. Hopefully it will pay off someday. That's what I keep telling myself. LOL!
I do respect your's and everyone else's right to not wear helmets. I've told you that all along, and I have only said that I completely disagree with you because of the hundreds of horror stories I've heard with head injuries.

Here we go. I have to get in now. Here is my outlook on the situation as a whole.
You live in an area where the politics have not taken every choice you have....yet. Welcome to CA. Sing your praises and be glad your whole state is not the dumbest of the dumb. However there are two points being made here from the same side of the hill.
Everyone that is involved in this debate wants to see the Govt. stick its nose back up its own butt and get it out of our lives and taking away anything that is fun or may have potential for injury (banning of kids playing tag at school for example). We all want our choices to wear a helmet or not to wear a helmet. To ride, or not to ride. No longer is it to be or not to be, it is only to be when Uncle sam says it is.
So I am all for people exercising their rights to use the freedoms that we have however we see appropriate.
However, that being said there is logic to the other portion of this debate. People in general who are high speed, high risk riding without helmets do in fact give the idiots out there (with the I have to protect you from you attitude) additional ammo to continue restricting and taking away our rights. They use every stat they can gather in their favor. Is that right? Is that a fair thing to do to those that want to live within their legal rights? I do not believe so. However, is it the way it really works??? Sorry to say, YES
Until the majority gets off of their lazy asses and steps up and puts all these small groups of radicals in their place. We will continue to lose. So not wearing a helmet, does aid that.
Again, I am all for our freedoms!!! But at some point we have to either bend and try and keep them off our backs a little (ie helmets) or someone needs to take the reigns and lead a revolt against them.
Those are my thoughts!

Yes, that's true. You westerners are sharpening up right nicely!
It just that... I don't think its healthy or wise to have animosity towards others when they're not doing you any specific harm. I guess I just hate being hated.

Not much of anything. I trade stocks, flip the occassional house, and any other investment opportunity that falls in my lap. I could get along just as well with a 3rd grade education. (Just don't tell the kids!)
I have a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and have nearly all of the requirements for a mathematics degree. I dropped the math and just went for engineering. I wasted,,, er,,, devoted 8 yrs (Jan 1991 - Dec 1998) to undergrad studies.

If you like it, you should do fairly well. If its nothing more than "suffering for pay",,, well, that depends on how long you can keep a stiff upper lip.

I just hope none of us have an accident with or without a helmet. Either way it still hurts and still counts as an accident for the stats. .... and it bothers me that I feel I have to be on here somewhat "glamorizing" not wearing helmets. If someone that would otherwise have worn a helmet decides not to wear one because of my rantings and gets hurt because of it, I would feel bad. I want everyone to make up their own minds without my influence. What I'm fighting for is the right to choose because nobody is a better judge of their own lives than themselves. All I can hope to do is point something out that they haven't considered yet.
