Yea, I am still trying to decide on boots. Have figured my size out and was set on the '08 Thor Quadrant, but saw the new Fox Comp 5 at a store in Vegas while there on vacation. Which is my best bet? Both about the same in price. Do I go with the standard sewn-on sole or the new style molded sole of the Fox.

I use Alpinestars tech 3 boots w/ a a/t sole on them and love them for riding my 700r!

The Thor are very nice for the money.....

Also check out the Fly Stinger shorty boot...... I have a set that I use when it's really hot out since they are like 3-inches shorter than the average MX boot. They are cheap and nice to have for ATV riding in the summer. Mind you they are not that short like a hiking boot, they are just not over the calf.

I am still sporting my AlpineStar Tech 8's from my dirtbike days! Very Durable boot... long lasting for sure! I have owned them 6 years now, the fit like sneakers and offer great protection... and heck - I ride a Utility quad..
