Default Protective gear

As a new rider, I am trying to get a feel for what protective gear I need to have.
I have a helmet, goggles and gloves. I wear NIKE ACG shoes/hiking boots. I am thinking about a riding shirt and riding pants.
I will do almost all trail riding...
Should I think about riding boots, shin guards, chest protector?

Thanks for your imput,

TDAWG

I wear every piece of safety gear I can find, including a neck brace. You can go your whole life and never need a piece of gear, but that one time it can save your life!

I especially like the EVS BJ22 chest/shoulder/arm protector!
