Default Towing with the ATV

According to Yamaha, my Wolvy can tow 1000 pounds. However, the hitch ball is mounted on the axle and much too low to tow any of my trailers level. Right now I'm just moving them around the yard with no load so I guess it's OK to tow them at an angle. Is there anything I can do to compensate for the distance between the ball and trailer tongue? One of my trailers needs the tongue about 12" higher to be level.

Get a bolt-on 2" receiver (Northern Tool), then you can use any kind of receiver hitch that raises or lowers the ball as needed.
