Default Oil question for belt drive owner's...

Do belt drives have any wet clutches, for example a centrifugal clutch that is internal in the engine???? If not, then it would not seem necessary to run a wet clutch friendly JASO MA oil, would it? What do your owner's manuals recommend??? If not, then a friction modified oil should be just fine, and should net you some extra performance.

Are other parts of the transmission (like transfer cases) integral to the engine or seperate units? Do they share the same oil with the engine?

Thanks!

The CVT's on both of my Chinese 150's have a gear box that uses 90 wt. gear oil. That is separate from the 10wt-40 in the engine.
