any one ever use a self powered flail mower that you pull with your atv or non PTO tractor?

 

just ordered one, hope it works out. should be here in a few weeks

 

a friend of mine uses one behind his 300 all the time he loves it for mowing his grass and making trails in prairie grass

 

People seem to like them at first. Once they get some use on them they start having trouble keeping belts on them and bearings in them. I think the issue is that eventually the frame gets tweaked by the rough terrain. I'd look for the heaviest constructed model I could find.
