I took it to the shop and they said the pick-up on the stator was bad. Well, we replaced the stator. Still no spark. It turns over though. We also bought a CDI box first when it broke down. I would really appreciate the help. We also got a test light and there was no power given to the ignition coil

 

i had the same issue with my 01, replace your coil that should do the trick.
