But that was all I wanted anyway, most discounts can be beat with about a 15min online price search.

I check most of the sites I can find just for the education, but some do seem a little more "light" than others. Then there is that Blue one that takes a week to load each page due to more ads than the yellow pages, and I am on a T1 hookup!

I do hope the site does not go away though......

Past articles and reviews were very impressive though, maybe we should apply for some of theses job openings?

Got the really nice hat, you know the kind that the embroidery is too nice to get dirty. Lots of good comments about the hat. it was worth the money to me.

Other than that, an ID card , vendor discounts, and an unsigned form letter.

How about the access to the latest and greatest in the "secret site"? You didn't mention anything about that....or, did you mention just what you actually got?

 

My bad. I did get a pasword etc to get into that area. Forum is similar but lonely and a lot of links to news articles etc. I think it is one of those things that participation will make or break.
"Build it and they will come" maybe.

I think about all the time and effort that goes into any and all of these sites and I am still pretty impressed by the dedication of a bunch of people who basically like to play in the dirt. I am in good company!

Loved the hat, never got my stickers, and the forums are kinda dead. Nice software, but almost no one ever posting. ATV links are usually out-of0date, requiring you to go to newspaper webpage and search. I don't mind donating the money to the webpage because it's kinda a meeting place (general forums, not FTC), and I like the hat.
A lot of folks that I talk with regularly have left to TIME, mostly because of the younger posters and their bashing (Maker X rules, and Maker Y drools!) and idiotic posts liek that. Or bragging about how the bike they're going to buy will beat the other guy's future bike, when they haven't even released either bike for sale to the public yet! Or whining about how they ignored their parents rules, and now they going to have their quad taken away, or can't ride for a month.
Most of those folks are seeking or providing help for owners of similar quads, or looking for riding places or places to ride. Not arguing incessantly about why the 99 Woodchuck is far superior for jumping to the 2001 Weasel, or some other crap like that.
But that's my opinion, and they're like butts: Everyone has one, and the other person's is always the one that stinks! So.....
