I am surprised at how hard these are to find on teh net, maybe because of their odd shipping size folks do not want to mail order them.
Anyone know where to get a reasonable 72" fiberglass antenna + Flag>?
I did come across this though:

glowwhips: it is a giant glow stick for an antenna!
Pretty wicked if you ride at night.
All of the drunk campers will be hollerin at ya about the tracers.
Too bad they want 89.95 a piece...

LoeRyder I like the Pop-it whip at $27 with the mounting base my wallet likes it too, I also run a Desert Star whip light, $15, another good deal and because the light source is a large LED theres no bulb filament to break, check it out
HERE you'll need Acrobat reader. JL ATV has always shiped promply on my orders, never had a problem

For a lighted flag, I would recommend the glow sticks that you stick in Halloween bags. They are available for couple bucks a piece (or less), and do a pretty good job of lighting. Zip tie one to your regular flag and you're set. No wiring hassles or worries about breaking an expensive flag.

The chemical glow stick is an excellent idea, especially for people without a battery. One dark and stormy night at the dunes I went out alone for an easy ride (to cold for the others) and got seperated from my machine after a get-off. It took me 45 minutes of searching to find it. You would think that an ATV in the dunes would be easy to find, but not at night!
I now take a mini-mag and use the chem-light for the evening rides.

That must have been one horrible experience. I can only imagine walking around in pitch black darkness nad not be able to find the ATV you rode in on. 45 minutes is a lot of searching time as well. That is one reason why using the glow sticks is better, even if the ATV dies, you still have a little bit of light!

Yes, it sucked. The only thing I had going was that I was not injured and I did not panic. I started walking in bigger and bigger circles until I found it about 40 yards away.
Also made me a believer in the lanyard kill switches. The machine ended up on its wheels and just chugged away until it stalled.

I should have memtioned that the desert star works from either your 12v electrical system or a 9 volt battery and comes with the battery plug from the factory, I just throw the battery in the tool roll compartment under the seat but it also comes with a velcro setup they say it will run 60 hours on a battery

We were on a 100 mile ride in lucern valley,a vast desert area, and on the way back to camp we bacame very lost.As each quad began running out of gas in the pitch black,We would tie a glow stick to it.That person would then jump on the back of another quad riding double. We soon realized that the only way out of this mess was to drain the fuel out of the other machines and put it in one quad. That gave it enough gas to make it back to camp and return with more fuel in a truck. As we back tracked looking to find the quads that ran out of gas it would have been impossible with out the glow sticks attached to them.We never ride without glow sticks even on short rides.
