It's ashamed he may lose fingers over something foolish like drinking & riding. ATV's are like cars, guns, knives, etc. All can do damage if not respected and used properly. Unfortunately, alchohol takes away that respect all too qickly. Losing fingers makes me cringe, but he is lucky, he could have been hurt even worse.

I agree with the other 2 dudes, drinking and riding double on ATVs is not a good combination. Riding ATV's, performing tricks, and having fun is not a threat if you take the precautions to heart. Sorry to hear about the guy, but sh*t happens...

Also, I don't understand why people do this stuff...My local news reported about a month or so ago that This one woman wanted all ATV's to be banned and was going to try and sue Yamaha and all this junk because her children got hurt on one, but listen, this is what happened. All "3" of of her kids riding on one ATV at the same time "All under the age of 16", "None wearing a helmet", Riding on a "Paved public road"
ran off the road and into a ditch, because the throttle got stuck on their ATV. One Child dead, the other 2 injured, Because their no good mother let them ride like that....

WHAT.....It's because she's a liberal. They have the NO RESPONSIBILITY syndrome going on. Seriously though, too many out there will not take responsibility for their own actions. Remember the McDonald's lady that is now a millionaire?

Are wheelies dangerous even if neccessary precautions are taken? Sure they are. Same holds true for jumping, hill climbing, etc. Bottom line would be....KNOW THE RISK.....ACCEPT THE CONSEQUENCES.
