I have an '01 Sportsman 500 HO with a standard single trailer. I am tired of using those straps to tie it down and the Trailer Vise looks preety good for holding it down as well as security. Anyone out there have one or care to offer any advice? Thanks

gdo -

I'm not sure what the Trailer Vise is; however, I love the ATV Lock & Hold-Down System I have. Here's a link to bass pro shops where it's listed:

lock & hold-down system

They seem to be exactly what you're looking for.

In my personal experience, I've never seen such great product for atvs. I often get asked where I got them while at gas stations, unloading, etc.

Once you get the atv/lock in place, you just put your weight on the quad so the suspension compresses, thus causing the lock to rachet down and bam, it's there until you unlock it.

hope this helps,

I use two lock and holdown systems. Great items. The trailer vise is cumbersome and a person can steal your ATV by deflating the tires, I think.
