im only 13 and i have gotten in trouble wit the cops about 4 time within a year.only once did i actually get in trouble and that one happened about a month ago. im still waitin for a court date. and it wasnt even a cop. DNR-a$$ holes.they took my bike and now i have to do community service hours or even got to gateway for 3 days. just for riding on watershed property. anyway, the other three times i got caught was up in a corn feild about 500 ft. from my house.right when the cop put on his siren, bam!, my blaster blew up.now whenever i see i cop, i get butterflies in my stomach. i dont have anything agianst cops its just the a$$holes i do.

Absolute power currupts absolutly.

Here in Chicago three county sheriffs where just found not guilty for beating a man in custody to death. It takes a certain type of person to beat with there hands a man to death and these are the people who we have working for us.

Murderers

If he was looking for a stolen quad he should have had some info. on it. like
serial number or called the one that owned the stolen quad and had hime come
by and look at it. or if you had proof of ownership like bill of sale certificate of origin etc. you could have said it was at home and we can go get it or talk to your parents. he should not have taken you to the jail house in a car and read you your right etc. until he had something besides a general description. as far as putting your hands in your pocket/s that was not wise. Being as quick as he was to draw conclusions, you might be dead.

<< And if you are curious-I am 15, and I dont wear any kind of riding gear or a helmet.(For the type of riding I do, they would be more of a handicap(sp)than a help). >>

Handicap is the key word here folks.

<< using the word "sir" does not work. You are only feeding the high they're getting on their power trip. >>

A bad cop feeds on this.....a good cop appreciates this. Seems like no-matter where a person lives, he knows of some bad cops in the area....is this just a coincidence?

<< i hate to comment on this obvious misguided comment. but when you at work, in " sales " , whats the worst stress problem you have? someone not happy with there shirt size? >>

Clearly has never dealt with the public.

<< It takes a certain type of person to beat with there hands a man to death and these are the people who we have working for us. >>

Yes, this type of person is a murderer and should be treated in the same manner.

Hey Moderator,
Just putting in my two cents like everybody else, I thinks its about time this thread got locked,,,,This is a forum about atv tip/topics,
I don't think it was intended to pass judgement on good and or bad
cops and how we got away with things..So people handle situations differently than others, and the outcome of each situation can never
be resolved for both sides to be happy. This thread is putting a lot of ideas in young minds, these minds have enough problems these days growing up. Half the reason kids run from the law is because they hear things about cops from people who have broken the law. I'm not saying that everyone who replied to this tread broke the law. Society has has good people and bad people, being a civilian or cop...........
