Default Mystery 2 Wheeler

Back in the 70's a friend of mine owned a 2 wheel bike with balloon tires. I was wondering if any one might know what that may have been. I seem to remember it was white in color and I think it was made by one of the big 4 japanese manufacturers. It was not a Rokon. Thanks, Dave

You have the right idea. But I think the Fat Cat was only made in 1986-1987. The time frame I'm speaking of is definitely after 1976 and possibly as late as 1983. Thanks, Dave

My dad got me a used honda in 1979 or so, it had balloon tires and I think it had a 2 speed tranny but it was only a 50cc I think. I never had as much fun on anything since, I rode it everyday

Trail 50 comes to mind but I am not sure.

Honda made a 50 fat cat style for years it was called the Z50 and it was a 3 speed with no clutch. Yamaha also made a larger fat cat somwhere in the 125 -250 range but I cant remeber and Im not sure what the first year was for them.

PS: I think 2000 was the last year for the Z50 fat cat the best first bike ever in my opinion . Lots of fun Mine was a 78
