how much gas mileage does an R/T get?

 

i'm not sure what kind of gas mileage the R/T gets, but i'm sure its not as bad as an SUV or anything.

My cousin had another Dakota before the R/T, it was a 1997 Dakota extended cab 4x4 with the 3.9 V6. Horrible gas mileage. according to the little computer thing it got about 13-15 mpg. I wasnt too impressed with the power either.

 

I don't thing it will be that bad, but if you push it hard, I expect it will smoke through some fuel.I have heard of guys getting 16-17 on the highway, but city milage varies from 10- 14. everything depends how YOU drive.

 

I have a 4.7 in an 02 Durango ..... has 65000 trouble free miles....
pulls 12' trailer with three quads -- three people with no problem.
Gets about 10 miles per gallon loaded like that.

(have even got 19 MPG staying at speed limit ... !)
