Default Red Clay,,,,who has had the pleasure???

Ever ridden in this stuff. You know the peanut butter type slop. Almost impossible to wash off. ($20 at the car wash spray booth)

North Carolina piedmont has too much of it.

Glad to be in NW. Now I wash the bike every three months..... whether it needs it or not.

The red dust in the 'iron range' counties of the western U.P. and northern Wisconsin is about the nastiest stuff I've ran in to. A good sized caravan on a roadside railroad bed will almost dust-out the highway next to it and the stuff is pretty resilient to water.

Windrock (TN.) mud/clay seems to stick and hold pretty well too.

Northern Minnesota iron range is the same...I do not like the red clay at all. It is just a pain in the a$$...

Give me the old fashion brown mud any day!!!
