any why make sure you include options like what engine and stuff...

 

1997 Ford F-250 with the 7.3l powerstroke disel motor.. its the best.. great mpg 20-25.. great power..

 

My step dad has one of those, very nice truck. I personally would go with a 2004 F-350 with the 6.4L powerstroke diesel. 300 hp and 550 or so ft.lbs of torque.

 

im going vintage in all my favorites...and they cross brands too........#1 37,38 ford pickup #2 72 chevrolet c10 imo, they may not be the best trucks, but i think they are the best looking trucks and are my favorites

 

the next truck i buy will have a solid front axle, i like all the u.s. trucks & most imports. i have just had too many problems with my independent front suspension. (if i were to buy a new truck today, it would be a dodge 2500 s/c with the standard output cummins)

My 97 Ford F350 was a POS.... I know many that have em and love em... but mine nickle & dimed me to death... admittedly it was a 1-ton and on the scales it tipped 16000 lbs, which didn't help much... so i dont blame my everending rotor & diff replacements solely on the truck.
My 96 GMC Z-71 has 420,000 KM's on it, 1x rear diff change, 4x fuel pump change... this truck has been loaded with 800-1000 lb loads and been pummeled thru some of the worst roads Alberta can offer,... and it still drives like a truck w/ 20,000 kms on it.
My 97 & 98 Dodge Diesels have also been great... however @ 160,000-180,000 kms both needed Tranny's, and both lost rear diffs by 190,000 KMs,.... since replacing... one truck had another rear diff @ 320,000 kms, the other I sold @ 300,000 Kms.
My fav truck to drive is the Dodge if I'm in some crappy lease road,..... but slippery Highway stuff I prefer the Z-71..... seems all have their good points these days.... I'm just not a Ford Fan anymore after my 97.... (always was before). I know that doesn't clear anything up... but it's my own experience.

 

The best Truck, that's simple my Dodge...360, 1/2 ton, Jet performance Chip, K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit and filter, Flomaster exhaust, Rhino Lined, yadda yadda yadda...I know it's the best one cause my dealer told me so. So that makes it so. Plus Big Honda says it has nice break lights(cause that's all he ever sees from back there)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

My brother in law purchased a new Dodge 1500 4 door truck last fall and
its really nice. He looked at the new Chevies and liked them to but the
styling and four door feature is the reason he purchased the Dodge.

My neighbor last fall purchased a left over 02 Chevy 1500 extended cab
after the 03 models were all ready out because he didn't like the new
front end on the chevies.

The new Chevy trucks are ugly. I mean I am ugly enough so I don't need something
that makes woman and children point there fingers my way and then run.

If I was to go out today it would be a Dodge 2500 model.

I like the Toyota's too but have you looked at the front end of the new full size trucks.

Nothing like adding a slab of bacon or should I say chrome. Toyota went and put a big huck of chrome
on the front end.
