I am always on the lookout something in the outback. Here in southern Indiana reclaimed land goes for around $1500 per acre right now.
As far as credit cards is concerned I use 2 but when the bill arrives a check is promptly written and sent off.

In PA it seems that land is selling between $1000. to $3000. depending how far out you go. A neighbor stole (around) 200 acres for 500. an acre. There was a piece of land (almost in a larger town) for about $130000. (big business special sale price) It couldn't have been much more than an acre.
