Default Rat Pak Travel Trailer?

Can anyone who owns one of these share how they like/dislike it? It seems like a convenient and affordable home away from home.

I hope to be trying one out in June. WIll let ya know.
We went and looked one over last month and it seemed pretty nice. Felt roomy for it's size.

Did you see the pictures on the front page?

I like the idea, but I think they are a bit pricey. Ive seen other posts where they run about $12,000-13,000... Thats a chunk of change, but it would be perfect for me.

I had lunch by the dealer today and they had on on their lot so I walked over and checked it out. It did look pretty roomy inside for it's size - I was surprised. It had a fold out bed so that helps a lot. It has a single sink, 2 burner stove, small bathroom/shower and a couple cabinets and a good size fridge. This one had no oven, AC, awning, or microwave and the dealer said list was $13,900 and he was selling for $10,300. Seems pretty pricy to me.

We are going to look at one tomorrow. The dealer said $10,041 but I am not sure what options come with it. He said that the attached "room" was around $800. I looked at some fully enclosed trailers as well and the least expensive was $13,700. It would be nice to have some of the comforts of home brought to the wilderness.

We looked at about 15 different trailers and saw quite a few that were very nice. After seeing some of the larger and more expensive trailers, we decided that the Pak Rat was a bit undersized for us. It also seemed like it would be a struggle to get two quads on it - would have to slide it into position manually.

Yep, it is a little tight inside but for 1 or 2 people that just need a bathroom, shower, stove and fridge and need to haul 2 quads it would be OK. Still, the price seem too high for what it is. This is definately geared towards people with small trucks or SUVs. If you have a bigger tow vehicle then a small toy hauller is a better way to go.

You can just buy a enclosed trailer and have it renovated to however you want it. I have seen many on ebay that have small kitchens, bathrooms, and beds.
