2004, I think the Rhino came out that year and Polaris had the Ranger. Kawasaki had the Mule and there were Gators then but those 2 were both painfully slow back then and underpowered. The Gators and Mules were basically work-only machines. The Rhino was the sportiest of the bunch back then. Times have changed a lot since then. Now you have turbo machines that cost more than a mid-size sedan. Its nice there are still less expensive options as well for those who don't want to spend 20K plus on a utv, some substantially more than that.

 

Never even looked at them at that point - and agree that having lower cost options is great. There's no way I could justify paying what they want for an equivalent from the big names.
