Default 300ex reverse or 400ex

I'm wondering what would be the best way to modify the 300ex's reverse in a way that it is easier to use.

Or...Is there a mod for a 400ex that can give it reverse?

There is a reverse for the 400ex , you just reach forward with your feet and pull down on the front tires.LOL You can bend the reverse handle out about one inch at the top to make it easier to click it up with your heel and wire the release cable back so yount have to pull it in on the clutch lever but I wouldnt recomend it. You can also unplug the reverse sensor so it revs up in reverse instead of sputtering . Dont even think about buying a 300ex just because it has reverse,it in no way compares to the improved handling and power from the 400ex. If you want the best of both get a z400. The good news is all ofthese machines are fairly outdated and the prices are low.

But if I get stuck in mud, I'll need reverse! The z400 isn't a honda so I don't know if it's as reliable or not.

I mean really how often do you really use reverse. I have a raptor and I do use the reverse mostly in the sand when I'm B.S. with my friends and I want to roost them. It throws out alot of sand in reverse. You will enjoy the performance of the 400ex.

I have a raptor and I VERY SELDOM use my reverse.......
getting it out of the garage it is usually easier to just push it back.........and everywhere else, you can just gas it and spin it around......and you don't need reverse......

I think I would still get a Z WAY before I would get an ex
the Z is MUCH quicker, liquid cooled, and it does have reverse.....

not to mention it looks better

I downloaded a video of a z400 at http://www.offroadhaven.com and I am impressed with it. It sounds like a warrior IMO. Anyways, the guy got up to speed very quickly and he was pulling high speed wheelies. It looks like his wheelies are bad, but he covers a large distance in a short time...

if u want a revers then get the Z400 or the 660 raptor. u will easily get bored of the 300EX and will spend thousands of dollars trying to get it to go faster and have more power. go with a more potent quad. i'm talkin from experience.
